I have parted with quite a lot of stuff recently...

Like on Thurs my classmate Alicia flew off to Australia and she will be staying there and won't be joining us again next year. :( Then my class will be sharing the title of "Smallest Class in the Level" together with 314'08/414'09. Ok we will really miss her cos she is so cute and fun-loving and i really hope she will have as fun a time over there in Australia as we have had this year as a class! (Maybe she'll meet Swetha the Pest...)

Ok on a not-so-sad note (but not really happy either, more like bitter-sweet), I said bye-bye to er quite a lot of my hair! Even though my hair has been quite irritating as stuff when it gets long every time i cut it i still feel a tinge of sadness...cos i know once i cut it i will look really gross! I mean yeah the hairdresser cut it according to MY demands but the end result is...uncommentable (is there such a word?). But yeah even though my hair is still weird-looking in a "ponytail", it is a bit less rabbit-tail-ish than the last few times i cut it. In the future when i am out of school i am so going to experiment with my hair, like actually cutting it short (which i havent done since i started having a ponytail in p3), without needing to bother about breaking school rules. -_-

Another bitter-sweet parting is with my dear pipa...my mum somehow got persuaded by yu ls to trade in my pipa for a new one (together with additional cash $1200). Even though the new pipa does sound better i still kind of miss my old one, since we had gone through so much together (sob, sob...). And my mum keeps complaining that the new one doesnt look as nice as the old one. -_- Plus the old one was made out of a whole piece of wood whereas this one is made up of 2 pieces of wood put together. And i seem to be fated to own heavy pipas (even yu ls admits that both my old and new pipas are kind of heavy), despite the fact that i am not a very macho or even sporty kind of girl. On wed when i went for lesson i had to carry my pipas all the way to yu ls' house at tanah merah (and i live in choa chu kang) and back. It gave my severe muscle ache in the shoulders for a couple of days.

Speaking of pipa lesson, I am going to have my exam exactly one week from now! And i am so so dead can. Cos i am seriously not up to standard! If i screw up like last year i think i am seriously going to kill myself. Plus i pracced relatively hard recently but i dont seem to be making improvement at all. After lesson on wed i asked yu ls whether i improved from the last lesson and she just laughed. So demoralising. And yu ls was telling me that when there is prac without instructors i can let everyone self-prac then we can prac our own exam pieces (apparently she thinks that a lot of ppl are taking exams, since half of pipa section is taught by her and are taking exam next week), but i mentioned that barely anyone from other sections are taking exam (only yunan, michellin and of course nina and yiwei aside from nicole, weiyi and me), then she said anyway i am the SL so it is up to me to decide. I suggested that we have to prac for syf, then she was like syf is next year whereas exam is next week. Which kind of makes sense, but obviously i cant do that! It will be like 公私不分 or something.

Ah and prac yesterday was quite productive. According to feedback the jibengong prac was quite useful. May do more of it in future if instructors are not coming (i think there is only 1 more such prac during the hols). And we seem to make a bit of improvement in 蝉歌, seeing that when we went at around the original speed for the fast part it sounded generally ok. 快乐的柳琴was very happy cos they are very addicted to playing stuff very fast so we did the original speed thing twice and everyone seemed very happy for some unknown reason. And half an hour before dismissal i had to go and do the relabeling of pipas with zhiqi and lu ls so i got yunan to facilitate discussion on sectional outing. Conclusion of discussion: Maybe ice-skating. Followed by barbecue. Everyone go check when your condo's bbq pit is free. Ok i kind of hoped we had achieved more for the discussion but well i suppose there wasnt enough time. And tanbo is notorious for being unable to come to a consensus on stuff (eg where to eat at during sectional lunches, thus we always go sit under the escalator).

And the relabeling of pipas was a bit gross. Since a lot didnt have labels we just randomly slotted them into the numbers. And at first lu ls wanted to keep the pipas with cockroach faeces (since it can be repaired by replacing the 面板) cos they were relatively new, nina persuaded him to condemn them due to the fact that we have more than enough qins without keeping them. And plus our storeroom kind of have no space. We spent almost one and a half hours doing the relabeling and lu ls was sweating so much he was dripping sweat onto the qins. -_- And the pile of to-be-repaired tanbo instruments currently on the floor in the storeroom is getting in everyone's way, especially cello when they are taking out/keeping their instruments.

I seriously hope that we can re-sort out the instrus and cases during storeroom cleanup sometime during jixun (at least i hope there will be storeroom cleanup during jixun) cos right now we have no idea who is using what qin and which cases our qins are in. So i always end up taking so unknown qin which is usually spoilt in some way. And then i cant be bothered to take another one cos nowadays i dont play much during prac and most of the time i "conduct" the section instead. And when we remove all the instrus we will spray insecticide to get rid of the irritating pests...Muahahahahaha!

Oh and special mention: On fri we went to watch Madagascar 2!!!!!!! We meaning weiyi, bonian, vivian, jiahui, yunan and me! All in our CO shirt with culottes. We went out for sectional lunch after prac and i had to meet them late cos lu ls kept me back for the relabeling thing. Luckily i eat fast. And they kept telling horror stories! Grrrrr..... I hate horror stories. I remember after i watched Harry Potter 2 i got nightmares every night for goodness knows how long. Some of them wanted to watch other movies but all are NC16 or something so yay we decided to watch Madagascar 2! It was so so so so so cute! And the animals erm shake their butts a lot. But it was still quite touching aside from the humour and i kept crying... Then yunan say and she kept attempting to "comfort" me. Haha! And i still have to return her 6 bucks for the movie tickets! Oh no must really try to remember! :)
