A post dedicated to one of my favourite stories of all time, Pride and Prejudice~
After watching clips of uhh various versions of P&P on youtube, I realised those that I'm most amused by (as of now) aren't really the romantic scenes (which can get soppy), but rather the witty/funny ones. Shall post up a couple for my readers' amusement too. :D

Love Lizzy's wit HAHA.
Mr Darcy: Do you talk as a rule of dancing? Elizabeth: No, I prefer to be unsociable and taciturn.
What a suan. :P And the part at the back where they got a bit hostile at each other cos of Wickham was just so full of chemistry. *_* The way they filmed it was awesomely beautiful. (Y)
The way that they looked at each other was...omg. You obviously love each other just go on and say it already!!! Love how both of them were so concerned about his sister too! :) And the way Mr Darcy looked a bit blur blur when Lizzy and Georgiana were discussing him was kinda cute too. :P
Haha I think the 2005 movie version was more abstract and full of emotion, plus the soundtrack and filming was *_* The 1995 BBC version is great for those who appreciate how it really plays the book out super accurately though. :) Keira Knightley seems to be a little more headstrong, whereas Jennifer Ehle has this perpetual air of humour about her haha. And I love both Mr Darcys. He's so bleh sometimes but the imperfections are cute heh. :D
And special mention to the 1940 MGM version which stars Sir Laurence Olivier as Mr Darcy and Greer Garson as Elizabeth Bennet. It was the first version I ever watched (sneaked peeks at when my mum was watching) and it probably sparked off my love for the story. :) Most interesting aspect of this movie: doesn't follow the book much, the costumes are screwed up (cos they erm loaned it from another period drama...from another period :X) and it's freaking a COMEDY movie so it's really qianbian at times. But erm plus points for being hilarious. :P
Sighh why am I watching P&P clips at unearthly hours. Ok shall go sleep now. And dream of Mr Darcy!!! *_* Tomorrow is tree tree's birthday celebrations yay. :)
