You'll probably realise that i changed my skin. I didn't actually want to change so soon but my previous skin just died...so really no choice cos otherwise can't view the blog at all. I am not a big fan of Keira Knightley but well it's hard finding a skin that i like and which works so I settled for this one which is pretty nice actually. Though i would prefer not to use one with a celebrity. :PFAM '09 Viva Las Vegas!
Whoohoo!!! So fun! Haha it was SO interesting seeing everyone all dressed up and taking photos with like EVERYBODY. I didn't bother with bringing a camera cos i bet that 90% of the people going would have a camera. :P Well sadly some ppl haven't uploaded yet...like tree ling. But it's ok i already found a lot of pics. :D
(I like to narrate chronologically.) Early afternoon went for nail appointment. Was HORRIFIED to see 2 rgs girls there as well. Attempted to cover half my face with hair and turn in opposite direction to avoid recognition. Hope i didn't get recognised. O.o Nail polish is actually quite troublesome cos er you've got to be VERY careful. I was persuaded to pay extra for the quick-dry thing that would reduce waiting time from 2h (!!!) to 30min. I actually waited 35min before going into my room to change but i still killed one nail's polish. And i worsened it by attempting to manually 补救. Sigh. My right-hand nails were quite fail. :P
Then went to cheryl's house for hair and makeup. Haha while waiting watched the first part of the movie 保持通话 but didn't really get very far. :P The makeup person put some sticker on my eyelid to make my eyes bigger...plus fake eyelashes that felt REALLY weird. O.o And the rest said that my blue eyeshadow was quite cool haha! (Actually i didn't know that eyeshadow is supposed to contrast the colour of your dress...i was wearing pink.) For hair the person did two french braids on either side and made my hair poofy in the centre...then she curled the hanging strands using an iron thing. A bit weird but quite cool too! :)
We passed by RGS on our way to Hilton and since we were early we went in to take photos. We took outside GO and under the Raffles Tree, and also with Miss Wong (last year's math teacher) who totally didn't recognise us. :D Haha i forgot that there was CO yesterday and was quite horrified to see a lot of people carrying erhus walking past. There were a couple of ppl who seemed to recognise one of us but i wasn't wearing specs so couldn't tell who they were. Anyway i doubt most ppl could recognise me at first glance. :P

When we reached Hilton there were people there already. Everyone was spamming photos. Then we got chased upstairs by the hotel ppl cos we were taking up a lot of space in the lobby. :P So we went up and took MORE photos. After a while it became SUPER crowded so some of us went down again. -_- Haha anyway this whole period of time was spent exclaiming over how people look and photos. Ppl kept saying that i didn't look like myself! Even celeste and trina couldn't recognise me at first. They thought i was some weird person waving crazily at them and celeste was quite shocked when i grabbed her. Lol so funny!
Our table was at a not very good location cos our view of the stage was partially blocked by a pillar so we had to rely on the projection on the screen. We were really hungry but had to wait for the speeches and performances to end before the food was served. The food was quite yummy! But everyone started getting kind of full somewhere around the middle of the MANY courses and people were walking around taking photos, talking, etc. I ate almost every course except for a couple that were finished while i went washroom/walked around. Yay it was NICE! But well $65 is still rather ex. Hmph.
The pageant performances were quite cool. Mish's rollberblading was really cool! Haha but Brenda's teh tarik performance was the obvious favourite. Haha it totally brought the house down! Wonderfully creative and i bet she spent a long timne practising! Haha and she is really funny and not afraid to make a fool of herself so that's a bonus! :D
After dinner everyone went around taking photos again. Though by the end everyone's makeup and hair were getting a bit er ruined. After dinner everyone's lipstick kind of became non-existent. And i know the temporary curls in my hair totally went limp somewhere near the end of the evening. But we didn't care and people were taking big group photos on stage and everywhere. :D We even sang a birthday song for sherm on stage! Anthea was being a very enthu and cute emcee. :) It was really cool! Haha here are some of the photos that I found on facebook. Thanks to all those who took for us!

Hmm there are definitely more. I think trina has a lot. And sabby!!! Haha maybe will have a second instalment to FAM photos. :D Anyway it was quite fun even though the makeup was sometimes uncomfortable. haha i couldn't roll my eyes cos of the fake eyelashes!!! And the heels made feet hurt really badly. I am lucky that i didn't get a blister this time (i did the first time i wore it to er practise). When we were waiting for parents i saw some people limping. O.o And everyone were complaining that feet hurt a lot haha. Mine too! Had to grab a seat or else would just die. :P
Hmm ok shall end now. There is still a second part to this post!
RGCO farewell '09! <3
Awwwwwww so sad so sad so sad!!! Gah at first i wasn't even very sad! But then when i read all the notes that juniors wrote and stuff 我真的很舍不得!!! Ok so the first part everyone was late (including me) so the sec4s er stoned in a room waiting for ppl to arrive and some (ie sarah and me) chionged last-minute notes. :P Then we had this quiz thing by jiahui haha. And progressed to another classroom to watch this video with pics of the section. Awwwwww... After that went downstairs to shared classroom to await the start of the performance. And all the while we were chomping non-stop on the food provided by the juniors. :P
The tanbo performance was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! Omg now i am addicted to T-A-N-BO!!! I even sang it out loud while walking home (thinking i was alone) then realised that there was a guy walking behind me! Lol!!! So cute so cute jiahe and anyone else who took video UPLOAD UPLOAD UPLOAD!!! Gosh i SO need to watch it AGAIN AND AGAIN. :D :D :D And i love the booklet that they gave. Just that they always drew me so uglily. -_- Really looks like old grandma lor! After all the sections performed we exchanged gifts. It was a GREAT BIG MESS cos everyone was trying to give everyone and receiving from everyone and it was really messy. O.o Haha i made a lot of juniors help me give out stuff, carry stuff, etc!
And of course we took LOADS of photos. Even this really weird/cool video of a 千手观音 featuring nina as the main star and guest appearance by koh's arm! UPLOAD UPLOAD UPLOAD!!! Haha so fun shall put up some of the photos here too! Facebook rocks! :D

The notes and presents that i got from juniors and batchmates!!! <3<3<3 love all of you so much!!!
Haha it was really really touching to hear/read what the juniors said to us. And it's like you feel that all the hard work and all the sweat and tears were all worth it. MORE than worth it. Simply because there were so many people who cared. It's amazing to realise that you have actually made so much more impact than you expected. Thank you my lovely juniors, for showing us that you care, and for makig me feel so loved. :) I still feel so warm and fuzzy inside whenever i think of all of you!
And thank you batchmates, for sharing this experience. 4 years is actually quite a long time, and we've stuck together through thick and thin and came together to brave the ups and downs. I will ALWAYS remember how wonderful it's been being in the same CCA with all of you, striving for the same goals, supporting each other no matter what, and I will treasure the memories that we've shared. :D RGCO batch '09 will always have an irreplaceable place in my heart. <3
Sigh now i have really really left RGCO. No more excuses to comfort myself. :P I feel so old all of a sudden haha! Although there's been obstacles, problems, times when i nearly gave up, I am so glad that we've managed to come to where we are today and I have grown so much in the process. :) Thank you for teaching me so much and giving me so much memories that are currently threatening to overwhelm me! RGCO has truly been my second "family" and i will miss every single one of you awesome people!!! *whines* I really don't want to leaveeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!
