Ahhh just posted up the instructions for RGCO elections on the tanbo blog! All RGCO ppl remember to vote by wednesday! Haha elections are so fun. The interview was fun too! I was like observing all the different body language and drawing similarities and differences. :P (4 of you please don't kill me...) So fun to ask difficult questions. :) But I was relatively nice already ok...My pipa lesson tomorrow got pushed to the afternoon. Yu ls asked me whether I want to change my lesson time to saturday (permanently) and I told her sorry if sat i won't have time to prac. Like last week i had lesson on sat and practically didn't prac at all and she was rather pissed off. :( This week er didn't really prac a lot but at least i clocked in a couple of hours today and tomorrow morning still can prac. Omg i am so incredibly slack yu ls should just go on and kill me. -_- Apparently I am supposed to spend 20min each time I prac practising 空弦扫弦 to train my stamina since I am playing songs that require a lot of this kind of stamina. Plus that is one of my weakest points...I always play with not enough force... And true enough after like 1min my hand just died. After resting for a bit attempted to continue but was kind of dead...whatever shall slowly train up stamina. Anyway I only pracced that for 5min cos a bit late I didn't want to wake the neighbours. :)
Haha i realised pipa is like tennis. Yu ls also say must use arm not wrist! (Like Mr Ng) And similarly I am dying... Tennis is really dead too...everyone else is rallying and I can't even serve. -_- Oh but for pipa 扫弦 the "fun" part is that after a while you feel like your fingers are getting a massage cos there's just so much vibration...and at the end your fingers feel kind of numb... Yu ls tells me that I play too girlish-ly and I need to be more macho in order to bring out the war atmosphere in 十面...no idea how I am going to do that but er shall attempt to remember to make my 台风 more macho and less 温柔. And work on force and volume...diezzz.
