Yesterday went to watch Inkheart with Trina and Celeste. Ok-ly nice. I still think Bolt was the best movie that I've watched recently. Felt kind of guilty...cos I am procrastinating really badly for all my homework. But nevermind it is nice to go out with friends. Anyway I am pretty much a 宅女 most of the time. :) Next week i think i am going to RJ to visit seniors with weiyi, yunan and vivian. (Plus hopefully settle some CO admin stuff that are LONG overdue. sorry!) I hope my mum doesn't think that I go out too much.

So sad I can't go for the Vietnam Geog trip cos it clashes with Syf rehearsal. I was looking forward to it a lot. :( Guess I shall try applying for the Tioman trip then. I hope I get in!

Suddenly realised that time is passing really fast. I cannot imagine that in a couple of weeks we are starting to have so many exams already. E.g. chem practical. I STILL have no idea how to do Qualitative Analysis. How on earth do you memorise whichever colour that the solution turns into when you add this and that and whatever? Grrr I think I did not end up in the Chem remedial class by a stroke of luck. And now I am going to flunk the subject again. *cries* Not to mention SYF and CmPS deadline are looming up ahead. My resolution to not procrastinate is dying...

On fri i wanted to give a prep talk to give tanbo a boost in motivation or something. However, I didn't realise that there wasn't xiaozu time so in the end I gave a super-shortened speech before dazu started. I cut away all the "inspirational" parts and went straight to the point. ie must have extra prac, seeing that some other schools have 4 pracs per week whereas we only have 2 (one of which is regularly encroached on by CES). But I was a bit glad about having to shorten the speech cos otherwise it was going to sound incredibly lame anyway! I was trying to yell over all the suona, dizi, erhu and whatever praccing in the background. Being SL has greatly improved my lung capacity. -_-

From this week's prac I think tanbo has made some improvements. But on fri during dazu it was so hilarious seeing this long long long row of ruans (10 of them in all). And plus for the 蝉歌 part at front it was like 10 of them versus 4 of us. And out of the 4 liuqin+pipa, nicole the blur forgot to bring her 指甲. But I was quite impressed with her pro-ness at using a pick to play pipa. :P Liu ls confused the poor zhongruan by telling them that they need to play louder for syf (i kind of don't get why both zhang ls and liu ls keep telling them that they are so soft... i mean there are 10 of them! shouldn't they say it to us, who have a pathetic no of people compared to them?) then after they played louder for 蝉歌 she told them that they should play softer for that part. And for 漠楼 she confused the whole tanbo as well when she told us to play the 渐慢 which we played for concert but she removed after the concert and now added in again at wang ls's request. Hmm ok I realise that I am not making sense.

During 漠楼 liu ls told xianyue that their buzzing sound was supposed to imitate the sound made by flies as they buzzed around the carcasses of dead horses in the desert. Everyone went O.o and started laughing. Then she was saying that we live in this kind of environment and have no idea what that kind of scene looks like so we have to go imagine. I can't imagine poor xianyue trying to think of flies when they are playing 漠楼 during dazu! At least liuqin+pipa only got the sound effects for scary beetles!

Shall put up the thingy that wenyun sent us to put for the msn picture thing. Hopefully it will er motivate whoever sees this to prac hard! :) Jiayou everyone!
